Susan Buus has been working to create positive change in the lives of troubled youth since 1993. She currently serves as the Executive Director for Circle of Courage Institute. Wendell is vital part of the Circle of Courage, volunteering his time and helping out as needed.

The couple resides outside of Lennox, South Dakota. Together they have three grown children and six grandchildren. Wendell enjoys his full time job as a rural mail carrier. In her spare time, Susan enjoys traveling, reading, hosting "Camp Grandma" for her grandchilden and baking cookies for youth programs at Life Church.
